EXPERIENCE
Application Engineer: Lorentz Solution, San Jose, CA, USA. 2010 – present
• Provided Pre-sales and post-sales product support to customers.
• Developed python scripts codes for RF circuit simulations: Inductors, capacitors, and transformers.
• Used and practiced on most of the available full wave simulators in the market (HFSS, Momentum, etc...).
• Engaged in sales and marketing activities such as user conferences, sales kick-off meetings, and seminars.
• Developed and executed training arrangements in collaborations with Training and Sales teams.
• Authored and coauthored many detailed specification and application notes for Lorentz Solution products.
• Heavily participated in committees for product definition, cost managements, and press release planning.
• Designed and debugged different RF and Microwave Circuits to meet customer needs (VCO, LNA, and PLL).
Research and Teaching Assistant: Utah State University, Logan, UT, USA. 2008 – 2010
• Analyzed, designed, fabricated, and tested cavity backed slot antennas at S and C bands.
• Calibrated Near field antenna range using (NSI series 200).
• Designed a 60 GHz patch antenna and a waveguide to microstrip transition section for WPAN application.
• Designed a frequency and polarization reconfigurable antenna operating at both UWB and Bluetooth range.
• Developed Finite Element code and integrated it with Comsol to study scattering from a general cylinder.
• Taught undergraduate Electromagnetics I, Antennas I, and Electromagnetic laboratories.
Research Intern: University of Missouri, Kansans City, MO, USA. Summer 2007
• Improved the bandwidth performance of patch antennas using a novel trough slots technique.
• Performed validation of the antenna design using IE3D and Fidelity.
• Designed, analyzed, and prototyped wide-band high gain antennas for wireless applications.
