QUALIFICATIONS

Twenty-Two years experience in commercial, industrial, waste water, and Healthcare settings. I also have residential experience. Familiar with low voltage systems, high voltage, energy management systems, power factoring systems and equipment (both capacitive and SCR systems with line reactors), induction furnaces and controls, water jacketed conductors, buck boost transformers, transformers (wet/dry), MCC installations and wiring, control wiring, PLC programming and installation, variable speed drives (AFD’s), ultra violet bacterial control, conduit bending and installation of all trade sizes and types including concentric bends, boiler controls, DC drives and motors, harmonic current filter systems, grounding and bonding, wire sizing, service load calculations and sizing, emergency power systems, preventative maintenance, class 1 division 1 wiring methods, trouble shooting and repair, health and safety issues.

I have been the General Electrical Superintendent on a number of projects ranging in valuation up to 5 million. I have extensive experience in the layout and utilization of personnel and equipment, job reporting, and scheduling. I am well versed in the NEC electrical code as well as WAC requirements, and am experienced with Microsoft Excel, Word, etc. I have a working knowledge of Auto-cad, and Navis Works coordination software, and Conest Intellibid.

I am currently employed in south Florida as the Chief Electrical Estimator for Horton/Jones Electric, located in Fort Lauderdale. I am well versed in the estimation process from conceptual pricing, through to 100% design development, contract negotiation, and procurement. Our primary field of expertise is Health Care.

WORK HISTORY

Chief Estimator, Horton Jones Electrical Contractors 2004-Present

Current responsibilities include the take-off and estimation of electrical contract documents, design development, contract negotiation, project & personnel management, shop drawings in PDF and Auto-cad, MEP coordination drawings and management, & materials procurement.

Current projects include the Memorial Hospital West Bed Tower expansion, this is an 80 bed four story addition to an existing hospital, project valuation of 4.8M. Memorial Hospital West Cancer Center renovation, Memorial Hospital South, also know as Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, 8th Floor Family Birthplace Renovation, Jupiter Medical Center CT Renovation, Plantation General Hospital Pharmacy Renovation, and the Kendall Regional Hospital Pharmacy Renovation. Recently completed projects include the Lynn Performing Arts Center, at Lynn University in Boca Raton Florida, The Imperial Point Medical Center Emergency Department Expansion, and the Imperial Point Medical Center Outpatient Surgical Center. More are available upon request.

Electrical Superintendent, Horton Jones Electrical Contractors 2003-2005

Began work with Horton/Jones in October of 2003, have worked on several jobs, including the 5th and 7th floor remodel of the Boca Raton Community Hospital. The Lynn University, Dehoernle Residence hall remodel. Sun Sentinel Newspaper color press line remodel. Several smaller jobs at Lynn University and various hospitals in the south Florida area, as well as other smaller projects.

Electrician, Basin Heating and Electric 2002-2003

Began work with Basin Electric in April of 2002. Worked as lead Journeyman, in the installation of electrical wiring and systems for the HVAC industry and installed wiring systems for new Ross Dress for Less improvements in the Moses Lake, Washington area.

Electrical Superintendent, Stetner Electric 2000-2002

Began work with Stetner Electric in September of 2000. Responsibilities included the installation of Ultra Violet Bacterial control systems for the Lake Haven Utility District. (Completed in winter of 2001). Most recent projects include the new construction of the City of Grandview waste water treatment facility, City of Kittitas waste water treatment facility, and City of Prosser waste water treatment facilities upgrade. Which included the supervision and staffing of personnel and materials. Installation of new wiring, electrical components, and systems. Calibration of equipment and systems integration.

Electrician Site Manager, D&S Electric 2000-2000

Began work with D&S in March of 2000. Was involved in the installation of new electrical lighting and HVAC systems for the Dunlap Elementary School project in Seattle. After completion of Dunlap I then transferred to the Renton High School renovation for a period of two months until a lull in construction caused me to move to Stetner Electric.

Electrician, KB Alloys Inc. 1999-2000

Began work with KB in September of 1999. Had responsibilities in the areas of PLC programming and maintenance, crane and hoist repair and operation, induction

furnaces and power factoring equipment, high bay lighting, automatic doors, ventilation systems, etc. I left KB Alloys to seek better pay with D&S.

Electrical Superintendent, Desert Electric 1994-1999

I was lead journeyman and foreman for Desert Electric. Worked on commercial and industrial installations of electrical components and automation. Major projects included the reconstruction of the Columbia Foods-Winchester, processing facility after winter storm damage. This was a fast track job due to the harvest dates of food crops. The job was finished on schedule and was electrically site engineered by myself. This was a 20000 square foot facility. I was also the foreman on several new service station installations. All of which were completed on schedule. I left work with Desert Electric in August of 1999 due to a lack of work.

Electrician, J&M Electric 1993- 1994

I worked for J&M in the winter of 93 through till the spring of 94. I was involved in several projects while there. Most notably the new pelletizer line for the Takata Moses Lake facility which produces the explosive for automobile air bags. This was a Class 1 Division 1 installation. All conduit was done in rigid aluminum. I was also involved with projects at Rocket Research, Iowa Beef Products, and several residential homes.

Electrician, J&J Electric 1988-1993

Began work with J&J in the summer of 1988. Gained experience in many fields. Did high rise work in San Francisco, CA as well as oil refinery work in Martinez, CA and ship yard work in Oakland CA. Installed energy management systems for AT&T building in San Francisco. Gained experience in residential wiring on large housing projects as well as custom homes. Worked on multistory apartment complexes. Did motor control and automation systems for various industrial and commercial applications. Installed large array communication systems and dishes. I left J&J in the spring of 93 to return to Washington.
