Project Management responsibilities included lead Y2K Compliance Certification of all
telecommunications and network equipment and related Enterprise services for Portland
General Electric in Portland, Oregon. This included voice, data, SCADA/EMS control
equipment; transmission media such as, wire and fiber optic circuits and UHF, VHF and
Microwave integrated radio systems. Physical areas included power generation plants,
corporate offices, service centers, line crew facilities, company trucks, cars and
helicopters. Y2K methodology included Inventory Validation, Impact Assessment, Compliance
Planning and Test Verification Documentation.
