- Director, Technology Operations (2007 – 2009)
Responsible for managing Technology Operations functions at the North Canton, OH and Greenville, SC Technology Centers with budget in excess of $25M and direct management of approximately 150 associates. Duties include global coordination of corporate prototype, metrology and physical test activities. Additionally responsible for management of facilities engineering, EHS (environmental, health and safety) compliance, and quality functions at both sites. Achievements include:
• Significantly reduced operational budget year over year (including exceeding stretch goal in 2007) while improving performance of all groups;
• Improved on-time delivery of all groups to greater than 90% with successful completion of all major projects;
• Established “5S+Safety” initiative resulting in improved operational efficiency, improved safety and environmental compliance practice, and improved customer perception through more professional appearance;
• Improved capital spend to plan performance for Technology organization from <50% (prior to 2007) to 85% in 2008;
• Selected for Executive Development for Global Excellence (EDGE) program - Darden Business School; University of Virginia (completed 12/2008)

Responsible for managing consulting services activity for North America to achieve targeted growth goals. Duties include oversight of services delivery including Engineering Simulation/Design, Dynamics and Process Consulting (including process audits, formulation of process improvement plans, implementation of plans to achieve business goals). Achievements include:
• Led organization to all-time corporate record for services quarterly and annual revenue attainment;
• Developed process consulting activity centered around utilizing CAE and Virtual Product Development techniques to improve and streamline customer product development practice;
• Worked with sales staff to obtain several large (>$1M) process consulting engagements including the largest services win in MSC history;
• Obtained ISO Certification for services team North America wide;
• Established business metrics and reporting infrastructure to support growing organization;

Duties include providing pre and post sales technical support of software products. Served as regional expert for thermal and CFD applications. Met and consulted with customers regarding specific applications, taught classes and conducted seminar relating to FEA analysis. Also provided system level support including installation of software products on UNIX platforms.
