o Preparing Bit Proposals
o Run Hydraulics program for the Hydraulics optimization.
Study the application character and recommend the best suitable bits for specific applications
Job Profile as a MWD/LWD Engineer:
o Work on-site providing delivery of MWD/LWD service to the customer.
o Manage Measurement While Drilling (MWD) process: tool preparation, Installation.
o Testing the functionality of data acquisition tools, log generation and Quality Control.
o Maintain equipment inventory and supervises movement to and from well site.
o Check equipment and advises repair requirements.
o Maintains computer database for on-going jobs.
o Trouble shooting to get the data signal quality.
o Prepare Incident Reports and suggest possible causes of failure.
