Provided Engineering application support for the entire product line offered by the Electrical Products Division and the Federal Warning Systems Division as they relate to industrial applications. Responsibilities included assisting distributors and representatives in preparing formal quotes and equipment lists as they pertain to customized applications. Other tasks include the review of installation manuals, diagrams, wiring schematics and supplementary product enhancements to satisfy the customers’ applications.

Ebasco Plant Services, Turkey Point Nuclear Power Plant (Stuart, FL)
Prepared and submitted input data in regard to the Total Equipment Database for the Florida Power & Light computer mainframe. The Total Equipment Database stores technical data for the Nuclear Power Plants operated by Florida Power & Light.

Review of schematics, connection diagrams, and physical plant configurations.
Prepared cable tension and sidewall calculations for cable pulls within the power plants.
Provided Engineering support for new cable routes, pull boxes and approval of existing cable routes.

Prepared test scoping documents as input for preoperational test instructions. The TSD provides the required testing and acceptance criteria for the preoperational test. Government background check and training for Security Safeguards work was completed.
