PROJECTS
Robotics
--------
1.Cooperation of Multi-Agent Autonomous Systems
Project deals with developing and testing various algorithms employed for the cooperation and flocking of multi robot systems.
Proposed the hardware to be used and built each robot from scratch.
Autonomy of each robot is designed using various sensors and Predictive Kalman Filtering.
2.Simulation of a 3 Link RRR Robotic Arm
Simulated a 3 link RRR robotic arm using MATLab.
The project primarily dealt with the arm tracing a wall vertically by applying a known amount of force to it.
Performed analysis of the robot kinematics (Forward and Inverse), designed the robot dynamics and the force control for the robotic arm to trace the wall.
FPGA Design
-----------
1.Implementation of Skein-512 Hash Function
Developed the complete VHDL description of the hash function.
Synthesized the design using Xilinx 10.1 ISE.
Functional, timing and power analysis performed using ModelSim simulator and XPower Tool respectively.
Implemented the design on Spartan3 FPGA board.
Design verification using a fully automated Testbench was also performed.
2.Hardware Design of Block Cipher (RC-5, 64-Bit)
Developed the VHDL description of block cipher.
Verified functionally and timing of the design using ModelSim simulator.
Synthesized using Xilinx 10.1 ISE.
Implemented the design on Spartan3 FPGA board.
3.Hardware Design of Stream Cipher (Grain Version 1)
Designed and implemented the VHDL description of the stream cipher on Spartan3 FPGA board.
Synthesized using Xilinx 10.1 ISE.
Functionally and timing simulation was performed using ModelSim simulator.
Embedded System Design
-----------------------
1.Advanced Home Security System
Built the prototype of a home security system using IR sensors.
Involved in the analysis and design of the core circuitry.
The code for authenticating and controlling the sensors were written using Keil μvision and the circuit design was completed using OrCAD Capture CIS.
Artificial Intelligence
------------------------
Design of 4X4 Tic-Tac-Toe
Designed and implemented an interactive 4X4 Tic-Tac-Toe for a single player to play against the computer.
The code was developed using C and compiled using Microsoft Visual C++.
Artificial Intelligence and the Difficulty Level was implemented using Alpha-Beta Pruning.
