Performing all molecular biology techniques and maintain the mammalian cell culture.

Worked on two projects independently;
1. Oxidative stress-mediated apoptosis of rat hepatocytes exposed to acute ethanol treatment in the presence of Hepatitis B virus X protein.
2. Hepatitis B Virus X protein Regulation of Autophagic Responses – Calcium, NFKB pathway.
I handled hepatoblastoma, hepatocellular carcinoma cell lines, HEK293 cell lines and human tissues.
Gained experience in mammalian cell culture techniques and transfection, propagation and isolation of viruses and viral titre (TCID50), Adenoviral transfection, Western blotting, siRNA techniques.
Performed liver dissection and collected hepatocytes from rats.
