I developed new software and modified current software on an IBM iseries using RPG Free (RPG IV). The software was for distribution of new phone hardware and repair of phone hardware owned by individuals and bulk repair for businesses. I wrote software for all lines. Other technologies were also used, such as subfiles, FTP, & SQL.

Program in RPG and RPG ILE on a IBM AS/400 computer to tailor modifications to company systems, including JDEdwards World 7.3. I used Aldon and Softlanding’s Turnover as the software change management tools. Some of the new programs dealt with transferring XML on the IFS to DB2 files on the iseries using XALAN to translate the XML to text. I also made many other modifications. Some of the programs did require Embedded SQL.

CCSI/KB Home, Pomona, CA Sep 04 – May 05

My Position: Computer Consultant

I created new programs to move images and accompanying data from KB Home’s IBM iseries (AS/400) to a PC and then to Countrywide’s data import system. The development technologies included the use of PKZip, IFS, and FTP in the movement of loan images and text from KB Home’s iseries to a PC and then to Countrywide. A subfile was used to display the loans and allow removal of loans before transmission. I also did maintenance work on JDEdwards World 7.3.

Program in various client server technologies and in RPG on the IBM AS/400. Client Server technologies include Microsoft Visual Basic version 6, Microsoft Sequel Server/2000, and Microsoft Access 2002. I modified several VB6 programs to interface with Sequel Server databases. Responsibilities on the AS/400 include creating and maintaining JDE version 7.3 World software. Also accomplished an assignment developing in COBOL ILE on an AS/400.
