o Managed the Fort Ord Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Environmental Program with an annual budget of approximately $15,000,000 that utilized multiple subcontractors.
o Fort Ord BRAC Program was executed under Superfund/RCRA and required interfacing with Federal, State and Local Regulatory agencies. Congressional funding for this program was provided under the BRAC legislation
o Projects included groundwater and soil investigations and remediation, surface water sampling, soil vapor studies, environmental and human risk assessments, pilot and optimization studies, and risk-based clean up standard negotiations.
o Projects managed under CEQA, CERCLA, NPDES, and other regulatory oversight programs.
o Managed the Installation Restoration Programs (IRP) at the Presidio of Monterey and the Hawthorne Army Ammunition Plant.
o Handled all phases of project life-cycles from initial identification, site investigation, remedial action, long term monitoring and site closure.
