Experience
Over the past 5 years at Verizon I excelled at my work, starting out as an operator and eventually moving on to become the Union steward. Soon after, I was promoted to force manager in Framingham, MA. My responsibilities as a manager included, overseeing operations of 6 directory assistance offices including one located in Makati, Philippines. I was responsible for data analysis and entry of the operation data. On a daily basis I coordinated the staffing of each office to meet the customer service and budget needs of the company. Producing the schedule for 3 of the offices based upon analyzing historical trends and needs of the business was also among my duties. While working in management I was asked to write articles for the quarterly magazine that circulated in our department, and enjoyed the opportunity to do so.
During my spare time as an employee and going to school I have been working to establish a small business involving screen printing and vinyl signs. I have mentored with people who have 25 years experience in this industry and have learned hands on and through hours of trial and error. I have a strong background with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop through schooling and experimenting as well.
I have had customer service experience in each career endeavor. I acted as the shift leader during my 3 years with Hannaford while completing high school and attending college.
After aligning myself with customer service in each professional endeavor it has provided me with the tools to excel at any future venture I take on next.
