> Coordinated with MELCO to ensure the relays met utility specifications
> Prepared and streamlined all technical documentation for the project such as test plans, setting guidance documents, and functional design specifications for the relays.
> Trained in the operation, maintenance and use of the relays by MELCO
> Performed secondary injection tests on the relays in the presence of a utility representative using the OMICRON protection relay test kit and successfully demonstrated the protection schemes to the utility
Successfully completed the following projects:
Swansea North 400kV Gas Insulated Substation, Swansea, UK
> Designed and developed complete local control schemes, single line diagrams, and key line diagrams for all eleven bays of the substation
> Prepared cable schedules and cable termination sheets for the complete substation
> Prepared complete stage one commissioning documents such as test sheets and testing instructions
> Performed onsite commissioning of GIS equipment such as circuit breakers, current transformers, disconnectors, and grounding switches
Halton Hills Power Plant 230kV Switchyard, Halton Hills, Ontario, Canada
> Prepared cable schedules and cable termination sheets for the entire switchyard
> Prepared voltage drop calculations and sized cables to ensure that the voltage drop was within customer specifications.
