I provided direct analytical support to ongoing Law Enforcement investigative cases involving narcotics trafficking, terrorism, weapons proliferation/smuggling, alien smuggling, and money laundering. I routinely and independently took information from DOD Intelligence resources and fused it with information from law enforcement. I utilized commercial and Law Enforcement databases to compile multiple, complex fused intelligence reports that contained original analysis, conclusions and recommendations. Intelligence products were visually demonstrated through link analysis using Analyst Notebook in chart, graph, and time line formats. Classified versions of products including point papers, summaries, final reports, and formal presentations. I also produced investigative leads and unclassified products used by Law Enforcement agents and prosecutors for cases and courtroom presentation. I guided and mentored mid-level and junior analysts in research and target development. I routinely briefed General Officers, as well as law enforcement officials from the agent level to the SAC level, Senior Executive Service, and other key personnel, on issues related to narco-trafficking, terrorism, and alien smuggling.
