Special Skills & Interests
I have substantial leadership experience and a passion for the environment. I work well in groups or individually and I am reliable and a fast learner. I am able to work in harsh environments whether extreme hot or cold and am flexible to work all hours of the day or night. I have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and take strong attention to detail. I regularly use a GPS unit and compass and an electroshocker during fish surveys. I navigate through remote conservation areas with a detailed map and routinely hike over rough terrain. I am also permitted by the USFWS to survey for the endangered Delhi Sands Flower-loving Fly. I am certified in CPR and Wilderness First Aid as of 6/29/10.
