Engineering internship completed three projects. The main project saved VRK Automotive five weeks of trial and error in the design of a robotic welding cell by applying engineering principles.

• Design a robotic welding cell for automotive manufacturing plant and implementing it to production. The project required improvement in programming for movement of welding robot and to determine the smallest dimensions of the cell while maintaining full motion.

• Create SolidWorks design for modeling and dimension for a welding assembly fixture which was then used on production line

• Create a User's Manual for ABB RobotStudio so current employees could use the tools that our design group utilized to improve the design process

September 2009-January 2010 Internship--KLEAR Water Management, Wheeling, WV

Field Engineer for KLEAR Water Management responsible for various aspects of water treatment requirements for industrial water boiler systems.

• Heat transfer calculations on HVAC systems to estimate the amount of scale and possible increase of efficiency by using the services offered by KLEAR

• Determining the levels of chemical additives to correct the system water in the cooling towers

• Create monthly reports detailing the changes made, discuss results and make suggestions with each client to ensure proper maintenance of the systems
