Summary of Projects/works Handled
Project Title : Modeling of Engine Block
Software : Hypermesh 8.0
Client : Magna steyr
Project Description : Main aim of this project is to do the modeling of the Engine assembly as per client requirement. I worked as a part of 6 Team members. In this project we did both modeling for the given engine block using First order Tetra elements.
Project : FEA Modeling of Foot pedal and Hand Type Parking Brake Assembly for Durability requirement
Software : Hypermesh
Client : Caparo vehicle technologies (UK)
Project Description : FEA modeling is carried out by using shell, Hexa & Tetra Elements. Bolt Connection is modeled by using rigid elements. Modeling is done by using Hypermesh 10.0. as per quality criteria supplied by the client.
Project : FE Modeling of Front Door Trim
Tool Used : HYPERMESH
Client : NPAT, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Description: The main objective of the project was to create the defectfree FE Model of Door trim for analysis. Shell meshing has been represented on mid surface. Ribs were captured and variable thickness has been assigned to respective thickness collector as per client requirements. Materials and Properties were assigned and finally quality check parameters were maintained.
Project : FE Modeling of seat assembly.
Tool Used : HYPERMESH
Client : NPAT, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Description: The task was to deliver FE model for analysis. After geometry cleanup, shell meshing has been done on extracted mid surface .Quality Check Parameters were maintained as per client requirements.
Project : FE Modeling of Bumper Cover Front and Rear
Tool Used : HYPERMESH
Client : NPAT, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Description: The task was to deliver FE model for analysis. After geometry cleanup, shell meshing has been done on extracted mid surface .Quality Check Parameters were maintained as per client requirements.
ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Project Title : BUCKLING OF AIRCRAFT MEMBERS OF OPEN SECTIONS (M. Tech)
Synopsis : The purpose of design is used to analyses the real problems. Numerical approached is compared with Ansys results so that the buckling mode can be defined.
Project Title : LUDWIEG TUBE HYPERSONIC TUNNEL (B. Tech)
Synopsis : The objective is to evaluate the operating characteristics of Ludwieg tube hypersonic tunnel. The operational characteristics are evaluated by using a computer program and various graphs have been plotted to understand the flow characteristics data for various Mach numbers and different operating conditions.
ACADEMIC PROJECTS GUIDANCE
Project Title : SO-3 Turbojet Engine
Synopsis : The main aim of the project is to study the performance of the SO-3 turbojet engine both theoretically and practically. A virtual simulation of the engine is done in the computer using Computational Fluid Dynamics tool FLUENT and then they obtained results are checked with the theoretical results of the engine.
Project Title : Dynamic Analysis of a landing gear
Synopsis : The project is focused on the Dynamic analysis of the aircraft landing gear, under different types of static loading. Both theoretically and practically are compared.
