Experience
Capstone Projects
• Project Title: Flexible Driver
• Team size: Four
• Description: Los Alamos National Laboratories sponsored project development for a tool that could hold its shape as well as transmit force while being bent. We accomplished this through the use of hydraulic fluid and a piston cylinder arrangement. Gained experience dealing with the efficiency of hydraulic systems by minimizing leak paths. 9/10- 12/10
• Project Title: Low Speed Variable Displacement Hydraulic Pump
• Team size: Three
• Description: Designed a new hydraulic pump prototype. This pump was intended for a wind turbine application. Pump was modeled in Solidworks and stress analysis was performed in COSMOS. 9/09 - 12/09
