Role : QA Tester

Sabre Holdings, is the world’s largest Global Distribution System (GDS) connecting travel agents and travel suppliers like Airlines, Hotels etc with Travelers. The project dealt with migrating profile data from mainframes to open systems. The application is based on Service Oriented architecture and new Point of Sale GUI was developed to access this data. Manual & Automated Testing was done on the GUI.

Responsibilities:

• Created test plans & test scenarios based on Use case stories and also based on feedback from clients & business analysts.

• Mercury Quality Center is used for creating defects, reporting the results and to organized all test cases.

• Create test scenarios in Quick Test Professional using existing regression test cases to perform positive & negative testing.

• Used QTP for Performing Integration/Regression Testing of GUI.

• Stability test was conducted with 60% to 70% of Max. Number of users over several hours (5 to 6 hrs) to determine how the site handles a constant load of users over longer period of time using

• Developed reports and graphs to present the stress test results to the management.
