Historical Renovations or Special Projects
• Owners Construction Representative/Project Manager for a large construction project at the historical Mt. Washington Hotel and Resort-Bretton Woods, NH.
o Act as extension of the owner with responsibilities of overall estimates, program budget, schedule, and quality control.
o Returned 90% of project contingency to owner due to unified contract documents and active conflict resolution.
o Interacted with the client, contractors and hotel operations staff to provide a safe and functional project in an occupied building.
o Assists the owner with the analysis of proposed materials, change requests, applications for payment, and review/recommendation of specific materials and installation methods.
o Select and recommend project team, estimate/finalize budget, prepare contract documents, manage and maintain subcontractors and consultants, prepare and implement schedule, provide budget reconciliation, conflict resolution, and perform project closeout.

• Program Manager for the structural renovations and façade waterproofing project at the world headquarters of Bacardi International Headquarters-Hamilton, Bermuda.

o Oversee construction, compliance to contract documents as well as project QC/QA.

• Project Manager/Director of Commercial Inspections for ENR top five hundred engineering firm -Portland, ME
o Responsible for the leadership, productivity, and profitability of the commercial inspection division.
o Oversee and manage 5 engineers.
o Advise CEO and monetary partners of project conflicts, delays, schedule, and QA/QC. Provide solutions.
o Perform various commercial building inspections, forensic investigations, expert witness for litigation, reserve fund studies, environmental site assessments, and capital improvement/maintenance plans, which provided the owner with accurate cost estimating for capital funding.
o Accountable for the leadership, productivity, and profitability of a five engineer commercial inspection division which consistently produced 15 to 18% profit on a yearly revenue stream of approximately 2 million dollars.
• Field Coordinator for a leading risk-management firm specializing in inspection and code compliance of residential and commercial building systems.
o Supervise, train, and evaluate field personnel and operations in the development of a nation-wide organization which grew from 6 individuals in 5 urban areas to over 45 field personnel in 20 states
o Conduct training sessions for contractors and developers which focus on teaching builders and tradesmen the importance of water management, energy consumption, HVAC materials and methods of installation, safety, and foundations/soils.
