-- Investigated multi-line claims as a Field Adjuster, securing
statements, assisting in the appraisal of property damages,
evaluating liability, and negotiating settlements with insureds,
claimants, and attorneys. Supervised staff handling similar work.
Accurate Claims Research -- December, 1981 to May, 1985
-- Managed team of adjusters handling multi-line Property & Casualty
loss assignments for insurers, self-insureds, TPA's, General Agents.
Directed field investigations for all claim assignments.
Metropolitan Property & Liability--March, 1980 to December, 1981
-- Handled inside investigation of Auto B.I. claims and instructed
others in Drive-in auto appraisal program techniques.
Zurich American Insurance--April, 1979 to March, 1980
-- Conducted multi-line claims investigations of all Property and
Casualty losses to include initial investigation of Work Comp.
claims as an Inside Adjuster. Reported to several Unit Supervisors
and carried out instructions from Defense Counsel on complex
losses. Coordinated the handling efforts of Independent Adjusters.
State Farm Insurance--January, 1978 to April 1979
-- Participated in the telephone investigation of Auto B.I. claims to
include securing statements from insureds, claimants, & witnesses
along with scheduling Drive-in auto appraisal appointments.
