Monitoring and trouble shooting of more than a 1000 Nortel PBX’s for Verizon Business in Dallas. This includes evaluating, repairing and documenting. Creating cases and if necessary opening COPs and D1 tickets for dispatch. Following up on cases generated on a day by day basis.
Update and maintain database to keep networking and contact information up to date in order to be able to access site remotely and inform customer accordingly in case of emergency. Run reports and follow up on ongoing issues to keep the customer engaged and prevent future outages.
Provide assistance over the phone to technicians or walkthrough to customers on site to troubleshoot the issue on hand. Access systems remotely with the use of Dial Up Networking, SEB, Net Path, TCP/IP or LAN.
Alarm handling of several systems including Norstar, Fujitsu SBCS Series 3, Octel, NEC, Symposium, Call Pilot, SL100 and CS2100.
