Led three turn-arounds, a merger, and major company growth, as Sr. Manager of Sales & Marketing:

Turned-around building materials manufacturer. Wrote/implemented marketing plan including: strategic pricing program, new to-market strategy adding distribution, hiring new sales team, updating website and collaterals, diversifying product offering. Personally grew major accounts; securing two largest accounts in firm history, and partnering with client to add recycled content to their product, reducing weight and cost, adding R-value. Grew sales 30%, to highest backlog in company history.

Managed turn-around of furnishing firm as Sales VP. Signed group purchase agreements for 2500 colleges, led brand development of 4 new product groups, and redesign of primary product. Implemented strategic pricing and distribution plans, redesign of primary showroom, and sales aids, increasing sales 25%.

Restructured and doubled revenues of failing wood products producer as Director of Marketing. Developed new business plan, adding 9 product groups; creating new image, ad programs, collaterals, and interactive website. Altura Architectural Products, Inc. (1990-1993)

Director/VP Sales and Marketing, Dallas, TX

Directed sales and marketing of HMI spin-off; marketing portfolio of interior framing, doors & hardware to developers and GC’s. Managed development of unique framing system that allowed pre-construction sale for entire buildings at competitive prices, but allowing customization of appearance (shape, style, colors & face trim) at build-out, to meet individual tenant preference.
