Plant Maintenance

- Operation, maintenance and trouble shooting of entire plant with 45MW Thermal Cogeneration Power Plant.

- Planning & implementing the proactive, preventive and planned maintenance schedules for improving the overall reliability and safety of plant, personnel and production processes.

- Tracking breakdowns, implementing preventive maintenance programmes to improve the efficiency of the system or the equipment undergoing maintenance.

- Directing the maintenance team; preparing cost reports on spare parts, inventory, labour and machines for resources planning, budgeting & scheduling.

- Leading a large team of around 70 members (engineers & technicians) for round the clock availability of CPP and plant .

- Overseeing system up gradation for smooth operations and escalation in productivity.

- Successfully completed Erection & Commissioning of 25MW BHEL STG with all auxiliaries and DCS.

- DC & AC Drives of ABB/SIEMENS and PLC.

- Managing the erection & commissioning of Electrical Equipment & Machines by carrying out inspection tests for determining the effectiveness of equipment.

- Providing technical inputs and developing master specifications with needs assessment to ensure the completion of projects within stipulated time/cost parameters. Installation and Maintenance of Electrical equipment like Alternators, Woodward Governor , DAVR, Numerical Relays, DC & AC Drives, PLC, Power and Distribution Transformer, 66/11 kV Substation, HT/LT Vacuum, SF6 & Air Circuit Breakers, 11 kV Panels, Double bus switch board, protection CT,PT, Bus ducts ,VFD, Battery Chargers and UPS.

Modified of central interlocks in ABB digital DC Drives panel to minimise nuisance downtime.

Designed and implemented Reel Lowering system with S7 –200 Siemens PLC.

Visited many European countries & USA for selection of various Electrical machinery related to Projects.
