OBJECTIVE

To obtain a welder/fabricator position with a company that will offer the chance to apply my present skills, and at the same time afford me the opportunity to learn and advance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Over 30 years of welding/fabricating and manufacturing experience. Capable of reading precision measuring tools, setting up and running a department following FAA traceability requirements, repairing field trips, and handling problem solving to meet customer’s conditions of satisfaction. Performed as weld/fabricating lead person for a former employer of aircraft seat manufacturing, and was also involved in R&D of that companies various products. Specialize in assembly and welding of military jet afterburner components, precision (close tolerance) welding, anodized aluminum, and structural steel. Have been certified for welding many materials including: Haynes, Stainless/Cobalt castings, hot & cold rolled steel, Aluminum T6 6061, Cromoly 4130, Inconel, etc. Competent at Stick, Mig, and Tig, Resistance, Fusion, and torch burning/plasma arc cutting. Basic machine shop skills: Mill, lathe, drilling and tapping. Basic sheet metal: layout, print reading, shearing, press brake, grit blast/glass beading, riveting, overhead crane hookup, and forklift operator.
