Lab and Testing Operations Manager

Chaired full life cycle, from development to implementation for new operational and test quality system in addition to acting as leader of all development, DV and PV test plans for hybrid transmission magnetic brushless motors performance, water and oil pumps flows and vaccum pumps capacity.

Creator of equipment, test rigs and test plans designed to certify that prototype and finish good products perform is in accordance with emissions standards and customer specifications.

Analyzed inefficiencies of current programs to developed several cost reduction strategies, including a program generating $1,700,000/year cost savings in row materials and tooling, opening an in house Metallurgical test lab that reduced costs by $50,000/month, and lunching the development of the first electrical die heated, generating $250,000/year in savings.

Administered the technological development of the organizations products including research and development, market analysis, design, tooling, prototype, product launch (PPAP), specifications, documentation, environmental assessments and budgeting.

Developed new technology to introduce the first automated robotics flexible assembly cells into production and convert dedicated dies in to flexible dies to forge multiple Aluminum and Brass parts with same single die.

• Spearheaded the implementation of a Preventive Maintenance program for all production equipment, including automated machining cells, Trim presses and Forge presses - 500T to 3500T.

• Prioritized a reorganization of department workflow that resulted in 62% increase in efficiency.

Developed, managed and merged in the master time line multiple subprojects in addition to completing all PSO documentation for production launches.

Moved production equipment and tooling in a new facility in Mexico 6 weeks ahead of schedule.

• Initiated and managed cost savings program for all ongoing Chrysler programs.
