OBJECTIVE: I am seeking an escrow assistant, loan processor or doc drawer position that offers the opportunity to gain my knowledge. I’m also interesting any position in mortgage industry.

Doc Drawer

• Interface and review all data in doc system for accuracy; prepare and print all required loan documents

• Complete all applicable checklists including Section 32, FNMA requirement and State Predatory Lending Laws and review HUD’s and escrow instructions

Loan Processor

• Processes loan files, verifying accuracy of documents received. Reviews loan files to ensure all documents are received and correct.

• Follow up on pre and post closing documents to ensure all items are resolved or determine action to achieve a resolution.

• Orders required documents such as credit reports, appraisals or open escrow and title or other documentation to complete loan files. Determines which documentation is needed to complete the loan files.

• Work with the loan originator, title and escrow companies, and various others to get all the necessary paperwork to fulfill those conditions; and things can get very complicated.

• Calls borrowers, Lenders, Real Estate Brokers and Title Company have to keep abreast of next steps or to set a time and date for closing.

• Handles customer inquiries, providing information regarding missing loan documents and loan status.

• Assuming the loan is approved: receive a list of prior-to-documents conditions (PTDs) that must be met before loan documents are released by the bank.

• Gather, organize and track loan documents. Verify Borrower's income documentation, calculate front and back ratio and put all required documents and information to submission file with minimum supervision

• Keeps abreast of all policies and procedures, particularly those regarding loans

 Maintains escrow account by maintaining records.

 Prepares transaction documents by ordering title reports; completing forms and statements; gathering existing documents.

 Supports closing transaction by setting appointments; assembling documents; checking documents for completeness and accuracy; answering questions.

 Completes closing by recording and filing documents; distributing final closing statements and title.

 Complies with regulatory requirements by adhering to requirements.

 Opens orders, inputs closing statements from a worksheet prepared by Escrow Officer

 Prepares documents for closing and handles the complete disbursement and follow up of all escrow transactions

 Communicates requirements and other information to clients including Title exceptions

 Interprets earnest money agreements as they relate to closing and prepare all documents required
