Assistant Executive Director

- Provide extensive technical, managerial, organizational, and administrative support in working with the Mayor and City Council members, the Board of Commissioners, the Executive Director and the Executive management staff team to formulate and establish the Plainfield Municipal Utilities Authority as a NJ State first-of-a-kind, unique agency in order to develop, startup, manage and operate the City’s sanitary sewer collection system, the solid waste transfer station facility, and to devise a program to provide a comprehensive solid waste management plan for the City of Plainfield. We initiated operations with minimum funds and four full time employees and are now operating a successful agency with an annual operating budget close to $30 million and employing a diversified staff of more than 130 full time employees.

Superintendent of Public Works (1994-1996)

- Provide technical and administrative leadership to Planning, Engineering and Maintenance of city infrastructure. Syncrude Tar Sands Extraction Project – Alberta, Canada

- Provided post startup technical consultancy for plant-wide process machinery and equipment operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, performance evaluations and vibration/failure analysis. Conducted the utility air compressor failure analysis and supported H2 plant rebuild.

North Sea Oil Production Platforms – Aberdeen, Scotland

- Commissioned Brent field oil platform based gas re-injection and export compression machinery and gas treatment equipment systems. Collaborated in a major process related piston failure investigation and provided troubleshooting analysis of compression machinery and process equipment.

Trans-Alaska Oil Pipeline Project – Anchorage, Alaska

- Commissioned pump station equipment including gas turbine driven main line pumps, power generation units, heating systems, structural support refrigeration units and refinery topping units and equipment.

EXXON BAYWAY Oil Refinery – Linden, NJ

- Machinery technical consultant for plant wide machinery system review and troubleshooting analysis using technizues of vibration analysis. Coordinated the Utility Air Compressor replacement project. Assisted in recommissioning the Cat Cracker flue gas energy recovery train and startup of the Wet Gas Scrubber equipment.
