FICCI (Cartagena International Film Festival)

Hospitality and Logistics (Present)

Responsibilities include overseeing the Hospitality and Logistics departments. This includes travel,

accommodations and events for 300+ guests as well as import and export of all films being shown at the

festival.

INFFINITO Foundation (Brazilian Film Festival of New York, Miami, Vancouver and Montevideo

Guest Services & Logistics Manager (2006 - 2010)

Assisted with all aspects of this weeklong film festival including programming, guest hospitality, marketing,

scheduling, outreach, sponsorship, and print traffic. Translated and reviewed the festival catalogue and

guide, coordinated juror schedules, guest travel itineraries. Tracked, negotiated and coordinated the arrival

of all film prints used at BRAFF from around the world, ensuring that they arrived in the different cities on

time for their screening dates, in the proper exhibition format and language and were in suitable condition

for projection. Negotiated crucial deals with production companies, talent agents and distributors.

Organized a series of seminars and panel discussions sponsored by Cinema do Brasil. Served as the

primary contact for local and regional distributors and industry representatives. Introduced all the

screenings of the festival and organized special events.

Dubai International Film Festival [DIFF] (Dubai, UAE)

Print Traffic Manager (2008-2010)

Tracked, negotiated and coordinated the arrival of all film prints used ensuring that they arrived in Dubai on

time for their screening dates, in the proper exhibition format and language, and were in suitable condition

for projection. Supervised the delivery of all 35mm and digital video film prints to the venue on time for

screenings, and then their return to their print sources, filmmakers, other festivals, or special screenings

elsewhere. Participated on the scheduling team where we had to plan screenings for 150+ films in 15

movie theatres.

Executrain Florida (Sunrise, FL)

Training Coordinator (Jan-May 2010)

In charge of all scheduling of training and instructors for both offices of Executrain in Florida as well as on-

site training all around the United States. Working in a fast-paced environment with constant changes and

need of adapting to last minute changes. Manages more than 100 monthly trainings and 20 instructors.

Miami International Film Festival [MIFF] (Miami, Florida, USA)

Guest Services Supervisor (2010); Print Traffic Manager (2009); Guest Services Coordinator (2008)

Responsible for the travel and logistic needs of more than 300 guests from over 40 countries. Organized

all of the reservations for air travel and accommodations. Coordinated all of the inland transportation to and

from the venues and leading a staff of 40+ and a fleet of more than 30 vehicles. Introduced films and

conducted Q&A sessions in three languages.

Homestead Miami Speedway (Miami, Florida, USA)

Recruited and organized all civic groups volunteering for the race events. Responsible for allocating teams,

conducting training and preparing payment spreadsheets and contracts. During race days coordinated

special activities for the spectators.

assisted them with their registration and scheduling during the event. Interacted daily with high profile
