• Organized the Maintenance Shop environment in order to control parts locations and inventory. Upgraded the maintenance staff, which allowed a significant improvement in machine reliability
• Trained supervisory staff to better control process speeds and product flow
Increased packaging line efficiency (ConAgra) 40%
• Identified and corrected personnel issues
• Modified equipment to reduce machine sensitivity and to reduce clean-up down time
Increased production capacity (Bond Corp-produced, converted & packaged tack cloth) 100%, reduced labor force 15%, customer complaints 85% and job related injuries 75%.
• Purchased and installed new equipment
• Upgraded existing equipment, converted individual machines into a continuous process system
• Implemented a safety program and developed Production and Quality Control standards
Initiated Changes, which resulted in a 100% increase in sales of a key product.
• Evaluated a process on a new cutting machine
• Designed, fabricated and installed a mechanical device which doubled production
• Improved inventory control, reducing cost and allowing next day shipment to customers
Increased production capacities (Dixie-Portland) 200%, reduced customer complaints 85% and reduced labor costs 20%.
• Developed production standards and documentation
• Reorganized the labor force
• Made mechanical changes to equipment, design changes to packaging material and established Quality Standards for the packaging line

Increased production (The Pillsbury Company) 100% on a high-speed packaging line.
• Identified necessary mechanical modifications
• Sourced outside vendors as needed to facilitate equipment modifications
• Provided training for mechanics and operators based on existing SOP’s
Recognized the need for, developed and implemented a training program in an Air Force radar shop. This resulted in reducing certification time for new technicians by half and allowed more in-depth training for the entire cadre. This increased our efficiency rating from excellent to outstanding, the highest achievable level.
Radar unit met mission objectives for a two-week period while at a 50% staff level. Assessed flight line, pre/post flight and shop needs. Identified specific tasks to be performed by each member of the unit and produced a task assignment list. Continuously monitored the task list and modified it as needed.
