• Offshore leader in setting up Design and Build operations for Avaya Bangalore site. Planned and implemented IT strategy – designer desktop and build farm solutions - projects for the site.

Nortel (1999 – 2009)

Senior World Wide Service Delivery Manager (2004 – 2009)

Managed release engineering operations, service delivery, customer support and solution roadmap for 4 global development centers supporting 800 designers.

• Established development center in Bangalore. Hired and trained new employees in India.

• Mentor and managed a global team of 10+ sr. technical staff across 5 global sites. Conducted peer and performance reviews, including P&L responsibilities. Served as liaison officer between culturally distributed remote teams. Achieved CSAT over 90% over period of 4 years.

Responsible for overall improvement of software development process and product quality across Ethernet switching organization.

• Solution Architect for Submit Load Build Solution. 20% improvement in release cycle achieved across all programs. Solution was implemented using OO Perl automating scheduling, communication, and delivery phases of Loadbuild operations.

• Piloted the concept migrating ERS 8600 next generation product to Linux platform. Built, tested and verified 3rd party board support package for Linux.

• SME expert on Build architecture and configuration management for ERS and MERS 8600 products.

• Created Perl CGI to parse and validate hotlist CR data file across 2 sites.

• Rewrote Make file and distributed builds across host resulting in 30% reduction in build times for ERS 8600 platform.
