This successful project was completed using in-house scripts were created to migrated physical backups files and transaction logs file from one site to the new site using RoboCopy. LiteSpeed was used to compress and encrypt certain databases as they required transported by armored carrier. The entire migration process from script conception to go live was less than 3 months and a flawless implementation with the assistance of the entire organization. Performance gains from database reorganizations completed in about 66% of the previous wall clock time.
