Develop curricula, teach undergraduate classes in chemistry with focus on biochemistry including biomolecular laboratory methods; help teach organic chemistry and pharmacology. In collaboration with SIU School of Medicine, conduct research in serotonin level changes in sudden epileptic deaths leading to peer reviewed publications.
• Participated in cutting-edge research into role of serotonin levels in epileptic deaths, published in leading research journals.
