Created new and duplicate formulas for flavors based on specific client requests, needs, branding and product objectives. Assisted junior chemists in developing formulas to obtain a successful final formulation; used lab analysis equipment to analyze other fragrances and flavors and determine their chemical composition; and researched the market for new flavor and fragrance tendencies. Designed and incorporated the first new Sensory Evaluation department in the company, including research and presentation of the project to the company’s owners, designing the sensory room, establishing sensory evaluation rules, and establishing a course and manual for all employees on proper Sensory Evaluation training.
