Position: Projects Manager Jul 2006 – Present (5 years)

Projects:

A. Managing ,Developing & execution of the Interiors fit-out works for last 5 years for the Royal family projects in Dubai like (palaces, villas, residential buildings, offices , governments offices…etc) starting from initiation or design stage till completion.

B. Managing/Execution of interiors fit out work of Le Méridien Hotel in Dubai International Airport -concourse 2 Terminal 3 , which is consist of :

- 253 Guest room (Royal suites, 5 Star & 4 star rooms).

- Health spa (treatment room , Gym , swimming pool & Jacuzzis)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Managing the operations of all assigned projects (handling multiple projects in the same time ) from initiation stage till completion & handing over.

• Prepare with commercial department a budget for the projects in addition to prepare a procurements schedule for required materials & contracts(work orders) for subcontractors in order to ensure smoth implementation for the projects.

• Prepare & review all projects programs in coordination with planning dept.

• Follow up the project execution (for in-house works or outsourced) in accordance with assigned budget ,standard level of quality & time schedule.In addition to select suitable consultants or main contractors.

• Ensure that safety plan (procedures) prepared by safety department are followed & implemented by site staff.

• Coordinate with clients , designers,consultants & contractors at all the project stages including of attending regular meetings.

• Projects completion , handing over & close out.

2. Company: Al Habtoor – Lighton Engineering Group

Dubai, UAE Aug 2002 – Apr 2006

Position: Construction Manager

Project: Jumeirah Beach Residence - Dubai.

Twin tower (3B+G+42 floors) , project Budget : 860 million Dhs.

• Supervising of the interiors finishing & construction works.

• Follow up subcontractors works (quality & progress) which includes prepare/attend regular site meetings.

• Distribute/supervise the tasks & responsibilities for all team members.

• Ensure that the project are going right with the specified budget, quality & time schedule.

Project: Madinat Jumeirah Resort / Dubai. Project budget: 550 million Dhs.

• Supervise interiors fit out & construction works for Luxury villas which represent the heritage style for Dubai before 50-60 years, Health SPA (15 unit + main building) , swimming pool, Sports complex including of 5 tennis courts,14 bridges over the water canal, Culvert (300 meter long) underground.

2. Al Saket Bldg. Contracting & Maintenance, Dubai, UAE

Position: Project Engineer May 1999 – Aug 2002

Projects: Renovation/interiors fit-out works for Hyatt Regency Hotel, Intercontinental Hotel in addition to private villas & offices.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Follow up work progress & requirements for all the sites (manpower, materials & equipments).

• Supervising of renovation/interiors fit-out works for high class hotels.

3. Ziad Al Hjaj Establishment, Amman, Jordan Oct 1998 – Mar 1999

Position: Project Engineer

Projects: Jabil Al Zahoor secondary schools.

• Supervising the renovation works for 2 secondary schools & add new services buildings.

• Supervising of finishing works for private villas.

4. AL Rasheed for Housing Projects , Iraq Mar 1996 – Jul 1998

Position: Site Engineer

Projects: Housing

Renovation/interiors fit-out of 5 buildings G+3 story, Baghdad.

• Implementing of 2 buildings G+4, Baghdad.
