Project #1 Google Application Testing -Orkut (Social Networking Site)
Description
Part of the QA team to test Google Orkut website on both Web as well as Mobile platforms.
Responsibilities
Project primarily involved testing sanity and regression test suites for Google Orkut Application. Testing included both Mobile and Web based versions and on various desktop browsers – IE, Chrome and Firefox. Test cases involved validation of
Photo application in Orkut.
Dynamic message update and visibility in desktop and mobile.
Update and Delete Scraps.
Creating and deleting an account.
Private settings in a user account.
Verifying whether application is user friendly after regression testing and UI of the application.
Project #2 Google Application Testing –Google News
Description
Project involved testing Google News web application. It is a collated news site that aggregates headlines from news sources worldwide, group’s similar stories together and displays them. Also involved testing Google news web application on G1, G2 (Google specific devices), iPhone, Nokia phones and various other mobile devices. Testing scope also included verification of dynamic/static content, verification of text alignment in various languages (RTL and LTR testing) and testing the application for addition/deletion of specific category/section in news.
Responsibilities
• Executing Test cases on Google Web Products. Reporting & prioritizing of defects.
• Understanding the business functionality of news web application.
• Mentoring new team members; Design, Develop and Execute Test Cases; Conducted UI Testing, Functional testing and System testing; Preparing Test Report.

Project #3 Google SMS Channel
Description
Testing Google’s SMS Channels service that enables users to create their own SMS channel or simply receive SMS updates from Google groups/news and even blog feeds. SMS Channels allows you to create your own channels to publish content that other users can subscribe to.
Responsibilities
Verify the channels for activation and deactivation etc. for correct alignment.
Updating and reviewing the channels based on Google policies.
Verifying whether the channel name matches the content, verify for spam content, verify the daily report sheet, verify for reactivated channels.
You tube- converting the conversation into specified language in particular time period.
