Project Description:
Easycon is a windows application which can be used to import PCL files
from various medical devices and convert to the file formats of PDF, JPG,
TXT, BMP and TIFF. Importing of PCL file is done using a device called
"Print2USB". It is an Intermediary USB Device that connects Medical
instrument and Computer. PCL file gathered from the "Print2USB" device is
further used by the Easycon application to convert it to human readable
file formats mentioned above.

Triangulum is a windows application that acts as a proxy between a
diagnostic instrument, in DICOM terms 'modality', and the DICOM-enabled
hospital information system. The concept of the "Triangulum" is to provide
a plug-in model to allow connection to different types of devices with none
or
few modifications to existing software. The primary aspect of Triangulum is
the use of existing proprietary communication information exchange
protocols available in diagnostic equipment and providing the DICOM-

The use of Triangulum will result in a minimal amount of development
effort possible for device vendors. Its modular design shall allow
adaptation to different requirements of various instruments and can
