I’ve specialized in Geographical and Geospatial aspects of Healthcare, with specific emphasis on Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and it’s use in mapping, geodemographic data collection and statistical analysis.
For over a decade I’ve been a Project Director and Professor at the University of Nebraska.
While leading and managing GIS applications and grants for the University, I’ve also spent over 15 years developing and instructing courses in GIS, GIS applications in Social Sciences, World Geography, Physical Geography and Human and Cultural Geography.
In addition I’ve represented the State and University by participating on numerous community and State boards and committees. I’ve presented research and publications at state, regional, national and international conferences. I’ve testified before state and national entities regarding research, changes and implications.
