Responsible for data integrity on all packaged finished goods, packaged intermediates, and packaged supplies stored in areas owned and controlled at the North Augusta site. Managed inventory processes owned by Inventory Owners at the North Augusta site. Facilitated adherence to process to assure uniformity across North America. Performed and documented root cause analysis, re-education and corrective actions for all non-conformances. Revised warehouse procedures to conform with Cytec corporate procedures. Created multiple spreadsheets which are currently being used in various warehouse standard operating procedures. Spreadsheets are currently used to track inventory discrepancies and record corrective actions, and also to track on site trailer moves and status. Also created the receiving checklists for raw materials being ordered, delivered and transferred which are also now standard operating procedures. Reported inventory accuracy measures to site management and logistics management monthly while providing detailed data to support inventory accuracy measures.

Working Crew Leader (12/04-01/07)

Ensured proper management of inventory performed in order to successfully support 5 production units. Utilized planning forecast to ensure all raw materials were on hand and available. This included the use of e-mail to order materials, SAP to receive the materials and forklifts to stage the materials. Communicated with multiple outside carriers daily while scheduling pick up and delivery appointment times for the warehouse. Other duties were loading and unloading tank trucks as well as standard box trailers, training and documenting warehouse operators on established procedures, also conducting and documenting retraining with subordinates as necessary. I conducted 6 month reviews and annual performance appraisals with all subordinates. Ensured all documentation was kept current and available for review by management at all times.

Day Operator (3/00-12/04 )

Responsibilities included the use, care and upkeep of propane and electric company forklifts. Used forklifts to transport, store and stage packaged hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals. Loaded and unloaded trailers such as 20 and 40 foot cargo containers. Performed blocking and bracing of all export loads ensuring compliance with IMO and IMDG regulations and restrictions. Received purchase orders and processed other shipping documents such as bills of ladings, packing lists and certificates of analysis using SAP. Also performed inventory transfers as necessary for multiple site locations including other warehouses using SAP.
