EXPERIENCE

1993-Present - Warner Music Argentina, Buenos Aires - IT Manager

· Preparation of the IT Department Budget and the annual IT Plan,

and its presentation at Head Office.

· Oracle database administration. DBA of databases located in

different Latin American Countries.

· Analysis and design of client-server systems WARIS (Warner

Information System), WAP&L (Warner Profit and Loss System), STS

(Warner Sales Tracking System) and START_Loader (Interface for

START System of Head Office). All these systems were developed

multilingual for regional implementation. Programming languagues

used inludes MS Visual Studio .Net, ASP.Net, MS-Access, Oracle

(SQL & Procedure scripts); and ODBC / ADO data access techniques.

· Install and support the locally developed software in all the

regional affiliates (Brazil, Mexico, Miami, Colombia, Chile and

Miami's Regional Office).

· Coordinate the distributed development of software, over some

regional affiliates.

· Managed IT area of Warner Bros. Consumer Products Argentina and

the software implementation of Warner Music Chile. Supplied IT

services to Warner Chappell Argentina.

· Implement the software WARS (Warner Artist Royalty System)

developed by Head Office.

· Other tasks: Lead company workgroups that participated in the

implementation of the distribution software (J. D. Edwards),

including Invoicing Module. LAN Administration (Windows NT, Novell,

StreetTalk for NT and Banyan Vines). Establishment of communication

links to Home Office (London) and to the distribution warehouse

using Cisco routers, TCP/IP protocol, point to point and Frame Relay

lines. Organize internal and external training courses for company

employees.

1992-1993 - IPSA, Buenos Aires - System Analyst

· Participated in the development of software under Informix and

Unix in order to automatically process TV-set readings for rating

calculus.

Novel NetWare LAN. Took part in a team working on Artificial

Intelligence research, projects done in Turbo Prolog. Developed

systems for Purchases, Stocks, Invoicing, and Cost Figures for

several Argentine companies in RM-COBOL for Novel NetWare LAN.

Taught courses in application software, such us WordPerfect,

Display Write IV, DOS, Novell OS and other applications I developed.

· Operator in Data General Eclipse 150 and 350 with AOS, PC-IBM

equipment. Developed purely interactive programs for the same

equipment. Maintained Accounting, Salaries, and Audit Systems.

Material Calculation, and Critical Line Determination Systems.
