Mr. Narasimha Prasad Bhat is a certified sap Techno functional consultant in SAP Plant Maintenance Module (2010 December) and in SAP Netweaver development -2004S (2009 March).Presently he is working as SAP PM consultant in BPCL India since 2007. He had also worked as team lead in SAP Netwever Java Dynpro development and also as Team lead in Dot net development, SQL server DBA between 2005 to 2008. He is a certified Microsoft application developer too. He is proficient in conversion of business requirements into functional specifications and technical specifications for solution design, development, unit and integration testing and other aspects of software development lifecycle. He is known in BPCL for his strong problem solving skills, prototyping skills, analytical skills and ability to make balanced independent decisions.

Between1990 to 2005 he has worked in downstream Oil &Gas functions such as construction and maintenance of Oil & Gas service stations (Constructed 112 retail outlets across India), looked after major plant maintenance functions at two major installations of BPCL and also worked in sales functions. He is a certified project management professional (CIPM -2010)

“Idea generator and Excellent presenter” :

He is known in BPCL for a inventing a product named “BROMA”, an end to end product for automation of Oil and Gas service station maintenance complaint processes and subsequent billing processes . He developed it initially in dot net-sap platform on his own and later lead technical and functional team to develop the same in SAP-PM and MM platform. The product has been recognized allover the world and was presented in SAP-EAM summit at Florida, Petrofab Malasia and has won many national awards. The product is again going to be presented in SAP-EAM summit at New Delhi in June 2011.

He has personally won 4 BPCL’s Ideas awards and has won “CIO-Data quest” , “CIO-100” awards for BPCL .

He was labeled as “true 360 Degree consultant” at SAP-EAM summit in Florida-2010.

He is also an internal coach on HR subjects like “Team building”, “How to be happy all the time”, “Achieve the dreams” and “Presentation skills”.

Sr .Maintenance Engineer (2002-2004) - BPCL COCHIN Installation

• Maintenance of plant and machinery (Electrical , Mechanical and Safety) for the BPCL’s largest oil storage plant of India (Irimpanum-Kerala) . Implemented SAP PM for the first time in BPCL in a plant

• SAP location anchor for SAP-PM/MM/SD/PS process for 4 major plants in southern India

• Equipments maintained were 110 KV substation , 10 MVA transformers , 40 nos HT pumps and LT pumps , 300 Motor operated valves , 300 Flow meters , Above ground tanks , civil and mechanical facilities

• Maintenance of automation facilities like batch controllers of Tank lorry filling facilities , C++ software maintenance , PLCs and their ladder logic programmes , Servo gauges , MMIs , OICs etc .

• Won BPCL’s BEST-IDEA award 2002 for innovating Venturi based Blue dye doping system . This idea was later patented by BPCL and was implemented at all southern installations

• Also worked as planning officer where the job included management of daily indents, Transport planning , Liaison with Banks , Operation loss management etc . Used SAP SD module for creation of sales orders to invoice generation .Used SAP MM module for plant inventory management

Oil & Service station construction and maintenance Engineer (1990-2000) – BPCL- Siliguri , Durgapur , Calcutta , Bangalore , Mysore

• Has constructed over 120 new retail outlets and maintained over 800 Oil & GAS stations across India
