Welding Inspector Technician

Summary Experiences.

Around ten years experience in fabrications, constructions and welding industry since on 2000 within progressed beginning from QC Assistant, NDT Technician to QC Supervisor and freelance as Welding Inspector, Senior Welding Inspector, UT Technician, UT Coordinator with Varied exposure ranging form onshore / fabrication construction (i.e. Structure, Piping, Pipeline, Tank, Vessel) and offshore facilities fabrication and installation (i.e. Jakets, Deck platform, Topside and Pipelines) under various engineering and discipline Welding and NDT – Non Destructive Test for a number of multinational Construction OIL & GAS companies (ASEAN Region, Central Asia and West – Africa).

With following activities and knowledge:

*Familiar with code and standard i.e. AWS D1.1, ASME IX, ASME VIII, ASME V, ASME II, ANSI B31.1, API 1104, API 5L, API 2B, DNV OS F101, TH Hill DS-1, API RP 7G, ASTM / API Material Standards, AWS Flux and Filler Material Classifications, AWS/API Structural codes/Recommended Practices and ASNT/API NEW Personnel Qualification Requirements.

*Familiar with owner provided Drawings and Welding specifications, Weld Symbol, Weld Processes, Welding Inspection, Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), Welding Procedure Qualification Test (WPQT) and Procedure Qualification Record (PQR).

*Knowledgeable in Destructive Test: Hardness Test, Macro Test, Fracture Test, Nick Break Test, Carphy Test and Bend Test of weld area, HAZ area and material test.

*Strong documentation skills of Structure, Piping, Pressure Vessel, Tank and Pipeline Inspection, Coating, wrapping HSS and Holiday test.

*Experienced in hardbanding, hardfacing and NDT treatment for Tubular Goods of OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) Inspection.

*Comprehend and speak the local language and English as second language, written and spoken.

*Competent computer skills in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Power Point, Internet Application, Visio, etc.
