Work Experience:

1. From Sep. 1996 to Jun.2000, worked for Inventec Group Beijing Co. as Software Engineer, and the job included education software and electrical dictionary (based on VC++ technology and Windows platform) , and the website www.englishfree.com designing and developing.

Achievements:

* Resolved the difficulty in drawing smooth Mathematical Function Curves on standard display, which implement by algorithm of quadratic interpolation.

* Independently designed and developed web application of on-line dictionary (website www.englishfree.com), based on ASP technology and SQL Server DB. It was the first on-line dictionary by that time in China.

2. From Jun.2000 to Sep.2002, worked for Intellgent, Co., Ltd. as Web Application Software Analyst and Programmer, and also participate in testing group of several projects, be concerned with designing and reviewing of testing plan and test cases, deciding the testing procedures.

Achievements:

* Take charge of real estate channel of website, designed and developed several websites (which based on CFM technology and SQL Server DB) for land agent, such as centurycity.

* I played a key role in customer requirement analysis, decision on function specification, and system designing.

* As a system analyst and designer, successfully committed Searching System (which based on J2EE module and Oracle DB) of scientific and technical literature of SINOPEC (China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation), imported TRS (a whole-text based DB engine) to improve the efficiency in Full Text Search significantly. Used Oracle is used as backup and to fulfill management task for the system, such as user management, fee management and user's privilege management.

* As a system analyst and key programmer, successfully designed and developed original model of Business Processing Management System(BPMS)(Based on J2EE and Oracle),the aim of this product is to provide an enterprise application platform of running and managing the workflow in one company and between companies for group users, this system allows the authenticated users defining and modifying the company organization structure and business workflow, and doing business processes corresponding to their rights.

3. From Sep.2002 to Sep 2003, work for www.zhaopin.com as SQA engineer, the job includes drafting software testing plan, test case design, executing test procedure and finishing test report. The test includes different types, such as Unit, Integrate and Regression; different methods, such as black box and white box; and uses different test tools, such as JUnit and JProbe.

Achievements:

* Set up the standard QA procedure to improve work efficiency and communication between DEV and QA.

* As analyst and key programmer and successfully committed Headhunter Searching System (based on linux and Java) design and coding, improved the system searching speed and accuracy obviously.

4. From Sep.2003 to Jun 2005, work for CA(Computer Associates) as SQA Engineer, the responsibility included drawing up testing plan for Brightstor ARCserve Backup on Linux and Windows, design test cases, coordinating other colleagues to fulfill testing plan, submit testing report and bug analysis. BAB is a enterprise-scale Backup&restore software, it supports file system on various OSs and database backup and restore based on different policies.

Achievements:

* Optimized original test plan and test cases for Windows and Linux to improve testing efficiency and accuracy.

* More effective 200 bugs (15% in total) found in BAB product.

* Be mentor of about 15 interns (undergraduates) on product knowledge and software testing skills.

5. From Jun 2005 to Jan 2007, work for BEA System as Sr. Software Engineer in ALES (Aqualogic Enterprise Security) team, which responsibility includes design test project; coding for auto-test with CruiseControl, JAVA, ANT, Coconut; Design scheme for stress testing, using Loadrunner to develop testing script, analysis testing result; Test planning for system test, testing code development, execution and testing result analysis; Draw up Test Design specification and design test cases. ALES provides a security layer for user's web application, it controls the access for some application based on different authorization method, such as user authentication, SSO, through it, application developers only need to focus on business logic in their application, ALES can take over the user and right management in it.

Achievements:

* Set up test bed for stress testing, including testing script development.

* Develop automation code for sanity check, and deploy it for daily execution to verify whether the latest build is acceptable by QA team.

* Set up and drive regular technical talk in team and with overseas to share ideas, skills, etc.

6. From Jan 2007 to June 2008,work for Adobe China R&D Center as Senior Software Engineer in LiveCycle team, taking charge of functional and automation testing for LiveCycle product which is a workflow management software based on PDF or XDP forms, user can implement defining, customizing and managing a workflow by it. My responsibilities is focusing on finding and fixing product bugs, develop testing script in QTP to implement a part of basic function testing, coordinating the work of others in team, training for team members, and interview candidates for positions in team.

Achievements:

* Improve automation test coverage from 20% to 65% in Lifecycle, by ANT and Java.

* As a new employee in Jan 2007, in the term of boot camp, develop a leaving system (by xdp forms and in actionscript) for HR team to manage employee's leave.

* Set up a good relationship in team and with offshore team, keep effective communication in teams.

7. From June 2008 to present, work for VMware China R&D Center as Senior QA Engineer and testing group lead in VC Server Product, taking charge for functional and automation testing(Java, Autoit and Silktest), and live site testing in release.

* Improve and perfect TDS and test cases taken over from other teams.
