Project Engineer – Machine Vision & Embedded Systems (September 2009 – August 2010)

- Developed C code and ported it to a TI DSP, embedded in a smart camera, developing a real-time embedded system. The smart camera inspects biscuits passing over a conveyor. The algorithm coded in the DSP determines the quality of a biscuit and discards poor quality biscuits as the biscuits exit the conveyor.

- Proposed and verified an image processing based approach to estimate the position of the ball in unseen (video) frames for automatic ‘LBW decision making’ in cricket
