Sr Mainframe Developer & Analyst

• *+ years of experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Conversion and Maintenance of various software applications in IBM Mainframe Environment.

• Strong work experience in Application Development & Testing using MVS COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, EASYTRIEVE, Natural / Adabas, SQL, SPUFI, QMF, MQ Series, Broker, Xpeditor, CA7, Predict, Table Base, SAR, View Direct, Adastrip,

• Worked on complete software life cycle starting from requirement analysis, gap analysis, detail design, development, coding, testing and implementation to production support.

• Extensive experience in relational databases like DB2.

• Proficient in various IBM utilities and Tools like IDCAMS, IEBGENER, IEBCOMPR, SYNCSORT, XPEDITER, SPUFI, QMF and FILEAID, FILEAID for DB2.

• Hands on experience in Adabas and Ada utilities, MPM3, DBA5.

• Extensive experience in various Mainframe Configuration Management Tools including ENDEVOR, CHANGEMAN, PANVALET.

• Experience in scheduling the Production jobs execution [Time triggers, Job triggers, Dataset Triggers, Dependencies etc] using CA7 scheduler tool.

• Good experience in developments of JCLS, SORT cards and Procedures.

• Experience in Unit Testing, Regression Testing and User Acceptance Testing.

• Highly skilled in creating and executing test cases, test scripts from Functional specification/Detail Design Documents.

• Experience in UAT and Production Support.

• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

• Projects executed and implemented on Onsite/Offshore Models.

• Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
