INTERESTS
I have been actively involved in campus life over the past years, while also volunteering my time in my community doing a variety of services. I enjoy studying new cultures and learning new languages. Studying abroad twice has given me the wonderful opportunity of experiencing a world I never could have imagined and for that I am incredibly grateful. I have held an executive position on my university’s World Affairs Council, most recently leading as the President for the 2011 academic year.
During breaks from my studies, I enjoy learning about new cultures and widening my understanding of the world. I am an active member of my university’s organization English Corner. Twice a month domestic students meet with international students and help them strengthen their English skills and swap stories about our lives.
