Guitarmania, an alliance with industry giant Fender guitars to celebrate art, music and benefit Valley Big Brothers and Sisters.
An historic event that remains Arizona’s largest public art project.
Along with the honor of executing 2 guitars for Phoenix’s Guitarmania premier: “Close encounters”(Sponsored by Brian Cave and associates was selected by Westland giftware to be replicated as a Guitarmania miniature guitar and distributed globally. The second guitar for the event received sponsorship from multi platinum rockers, Nickelback.)
I was a member of the G2 focus group and my work was also featured in the Guitarmania Two (2006 – 2007) invitational exhibit. I contributed 2 original designs. (one featuring portraits of wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald of the Arizona Cardinals. http://larry-fitzgerald.com/jr/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=80 ) In addition I was blessed with the opportunity to paint & present 2 additional guitars to Arizona Diamondback’s President, Derrick Hall to celebrate his alliance with VBBBS.
