Reliability/Quality Engineer, Cummins Power Generation, June 2005 – May 2008
• Responsible for developing and writing reliability test plans for new VPI products to achieve system reliability and ensure that the product met specifications.
• Analyzed preliminary plans and developed reliability engineering program to achieve customer reliability objectives.
• Prepared diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations, and reports for defining reliability problems and made recommendations for improvements.
• Improved overall product reliability through the use of predictive maintenance tools and trend analysis techniques (Pareto, histograms, scatter charts, graphs and other techniques).
• Suggesting test and design methods and statistical process control procedures for gaining required levels of product reliability.
• Provide advises in design engineering on selection, test and application of electronic components and systems.
• Participate and lead in the following efforts — reliability improvement teams, strategic sourcing teams, process hazard analysis, incident investigations, project related safety reviews, management of change issues, risk based inspection optimization.
• Lead the FIRG (Failure Incident Review) team and organize weekly team meetings to give product reliability updates to design engineers.
• Provide monthly reliability reports to design engineers for the new product design based on product test results.

• Calculate the MTBF, MTTR for existing products and provide them to the customers.
• Work with Deisgn Engineers to assure that maintainability and reliability principles are integrated into all capital projects.
• Lead and provide group awareness training to management and engineers on the benefits of reliability testing of new products so quality product is shipped out to the end user. Active trainer of Reliability Practices.

• Design Team member for the redesign of the Air Data Sensor for B2 bombers.
• Analyzing the existing design ADS system and provided cost effective
• Product support engineer for existing military air data sensors (C130, F22, F16,..)
• Provide customer support and recommend alternate drop-in replacement for obsolete parts.
• Create Quality test plans and document Quality test reports for various Air Data Products (C130 aircraft, F22 Raptor, to name a few)
