Description:

The project belongs to Abu Dhabi Municipality (TPSS) that is to update the Master Plan for entire Road networks (road edge, Centreline, Parking, Footpath), Plots, Basements and Utility Service Reservation for Abu Dhabi Island and Outer part of Abu Dhabi Island as per the given approvals.

Roles and Contribution:

Making Utility Service Reservation, Plots (Design, Geometry corrections), Road networks (road edge, Centreline,Entrances, Parking, Footpath),building basement as per the approvals.

Periodically perform GIS data conversion and QC tasks using Feature Manipulation Engine (FME) and/or GIS software. The work scope includes receiving, retrieving and gathering data in different formats for compilation, validation and quality control checks, presenting validated data in GIS in addition, provides assistance to engineers.

Performs quality control checks and corrections to GIS data from contractors and end users before upload to Corporate GIS Database.

Prepares and maintain reports, records and files related to each projects &

sending the progress report to the respective authorities.

The Blom 3D City Model Components product is a collection of individual map components which can be used to create 3D city models to a variety of user defined specifications. Vector data of buildings represented as prismatic blocks, Roof structure is incorporated to the block model with patterned textures and detailed textures extracted from real images. Ground triangles cover the spaces between buildings. All surfaces are covered with real images.

This project involves day-to-day maintenance and enhancing the features of the system for the new network strategies.

Project #8 : AISLUS (All India Soil & Land Use Survey)

Client : Govt of India.

Description:

All India Soil & Land Use survey project is a premier in the field of soil and land resource mapping. The main objectives of the project are to generate basic soil and land use data through priority; delineation and detailed soil survey in the catchment of the River Valley Projects and Flood Prone Rivers. District based landdegradation mapping, special purpose surveys, multipurpose interpretation, and development of survey methodology at national level including remote sensing. This project is a central Sector collection of data on soil and land use particularly, in the identified catchments Soil Conservation in the Catchments of Rivers. The project envisages preparing Soil and Land Use Maps on the basis of actual survey in the catchment areas. The maps so generated from the basis of selection of priority areas, for Soil and Water Conservation. The detailed soil maps are produced for execution of land based activities in the concerned areas.
