DRILLING SUPERVISOR
Maintain responsibility for direct field supervision of 4 coring rigs which are coring into the Ft. McMurray Tar Sands in northern Alberta, Canada. Use strong leadership and time management skills in a SIMOPS environment where many different tasks are performed simultaneously with numerous contractors.
Plan and execute activities related to the coring operations
Safely complete projects within planned cost and time goals
Lead role for Health, Safety, and Environmental efforts including contractor safety management and incident investigation
Supervised the installation of water and observation wells for the dewatering of the Basil Aquifer
Assisted in implementing Total E&P Canada’s anomaly program, resulting in reducing accidents and bringing general awareness to employees of Titan Drilling

BURGAN DRILLING – KUWAIT 2007 - 2008
DRILLER / TOURPUSH (Night Push)
Organized a 4500m diesel electric triple desert rig outfitted with a national Varco top drive and ST-80 Iron roughneck. Majority of work was directional and horizontal drilling that created high pressures and high temperatures.
Supervised a 14-man crew with many different nationalities, none of whom were fluent in English
Worked safely and met the needs of the company man and senior tool push
Recorded pipe tallies, morning reports, and fuel readings daily
Implemented a safety program (hazard identification) to combat prior common accidents and injuries, resulting in a reduction of incidents to 0 during tenure

Worked on a 4000m 2000hp conventional triple and while drilling in the foothills, encountered many down- hole problems including over pressure formations, under pressure, sluff, hydraulic, faults, etc.
