As a construction superintendent with 14 years of experience with the same company, I have had the opportunity to be assigned the lead superintendent on varying levels of construction complexity; from new construction to multi-million dollar, 100 year old renovations. I am able to handle the multi-task scheduling challenges up to a 15 subcontractors and fast tracked projects while seeing that the firm is compliant with OSHA regulations. Many times I am the assigned on-site contact for the client, which has allowed me opportunities to fully understand the client's needs and expectations, at the same time, relaying the project status and potential areas of project complications to the crew, firm and major stake holders. Completing a project within budget and on-time are skills that I take great pride in accomplishing, and have done this 27 out of 28 projects. In the last five years, I have had the pleasure of working with a team that has received (2) Excellence of Renovation Awards and (1) Honorable Mention Award from ABC for projects for which I have been the lead superintendent.
Projects completed:
2009 Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 6.8 million (new construction) Completed on time with enthusiastically satisfied owners.
2008 426 Pennsylvania Condo’s, 7.2 million (renovation ) Owner occupied during renovation.
2007 Central Apartments, 5.9 million (renovation) Completed on time, dealing with restrictive local government policies/ordinances, and in a location which presented multiple challenges . Awarded ABC Award of Excellence in Renovation
2006 Lora B. Pearson Apartments 6.6 million (renovation) Completed on time. ABC Honorable Mention for Renovation.
2005 Hope Community Center 1.6 million (renovation & new) Completed on time and with in budget.
2004 Jefferson Center 8.8 million (renovation) Completed ahead of schedule and under budget. Awarded ABC Award of Excellence in Renovation.
Education:
2008: Certification on boom and scissor lifts.
2006: Trained to be a competent person on removal of lead base paint.
1998: Completed 10 hour OSHA class.
